EKYP Teen Yoga Class

Is your teen interested in joining EKYP for a yoga class? Complete our interest form if you are the parent/caregiver of a teen (ages 13-19) with a developmental disability and you are interested in a group yoga class for your child. 

Our threshold is at least 8 teens interested in group yoga class(es) on the same day/time. If/when we reach that, we'll contact all respondents about scheduling the class(es).

New, New & New - Updates from EKYP March 31, 2015

NEW LOCATION! Our first item of big news is our NEW LOCATION. Starting with our EKYP Kids Yoga class on Saturday, April 18 - we'll be holding our classes at our new location - Vanta Suite 180 at 726 Heartland Trail, Madison. (Note that the April and May Whole Family Yoga classes are occurring at Eagle Heights Community Center as scheduled).

We'd like to invite everyone over for EKYP's OPEN HOUSE to check out the new space on Saturday, April 11 from 4 - 5:30 pm. No yoga class, just a chance to find the location, take a look around, and enjoy some refreshments.Please RSVP here!

  • Thursday, April 16 at 7 pm: EKYP Caregivers Yoga taught by Bridget Rolek (RYT) of Exceptional Kids Yoga project. Because if you aren't taking care of yourself, it's harder to take care of anyone else! This restorative yoga class was developed for caregivers of children with developmental disabilities but is open to all kinds of caregivers. It will focus on rejuvenation and relaxation and requires no previous yoga experience. Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat if you have one.   • Sunday, May 17 at 3 pm: EKYP Kids Yoga taught by Kristin Wilson (RYT) of Exceptional Kids Yoga Project. Come join the yoga fun! This kids yoga class was developed to be specifically accessible to children with developmental disabilities but is open to all children ages 5-12. No previous yoga experience required. Bring a yoga mat if you have one and come dressed to move and ready for fun. RSVPs gladly accepted but not required: ekypmadison@gmail.com
